Very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer replaces an earlier KA. I like the large flour capacity and strength of the motor for bread making. It's just as helpful for lighter baking, such as cakes.

So silent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally upgraded from my 5qt Artisan mixer and I am so in love. I am a pastry cook and needed a bigger bowl and more power for doughs and larger batches. The 7qt handles the job perfectly and quietly. The only thing I have trouble with is hooking in the bowl easily. I'm used to the ease of tilt head bowl but I'm sure once I break in the new mixer I will no longer have that problem. I've already recommended the pro series mixer to my fellow bakers.

2 Major Problems

I bought this mixer just before Christmas and had major problems with it, a clicking noise and when I use the spiral hook the bowl was shaking very bad the bold where it hold the bowl got loose all the time. KA was very good with replacing the mixer, Hopefully this problem will be resolved...I feel for the price you pay it should work much smoother.
