Outstanding Mixer

I purchased this mixer for my wife. We have always had KitchenAid mixers and were always pleased with them, but she needed a larger capacity and a stronger motor for mixing dough for bread. She has been absolutely thrilled with this machine. It has performed perfectly for three years. All of our accessories that we purchased for our KitchenAid Artisan mixer over the years are compatible as well. This was a great purchase.

I love my kitchenaid

I had never tried to make bread before, and now I'm able to whip it up with ease! Not to mention cakes, pies, savory side dishes and more! It's hard to imagine life before I had this mixer!

Well, not only did it make the treats with no issues, but everything I have used it for to date has totally impressed me. I am ordering the pasta maker attachment and can hardly wait to try it out!

Large bowl and powerful motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Kitchenaid Pro line mixer early December to help me with my Christmas baking. I was using the kitchenaid 5 quart artisan mixer and was to small for the amount of dough I was making. I got the Artisan In the early 2000s and it did the job but was overwork every time I used it. I’ve been looking at the 7 quart mixer each year for the last 4 years because my Artisan motor was getting hotter quicker, each time I used it and also had that electrical smell so it had to be retired.
I finally broke down and bought it for myself this year. The Kitchenaid pro line made the work of mixing the dough for 1000 cookies no problem at all. Then Kneading the dough for my walnut bread was easy work for the mixer. I am very pleased with the Kitchenaid 7 quart pro line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer after almost killing my 5 plus. At twice the power and significantly more volume, I expected a little more. I usually mix double and triple batches of dough. This mixer is barely up to the task. My bad. I should have gotten the next larger commercial model. Regardless, I love this mixer. Dough still flies over the top because I am mixing too much, but it seems to have enough power. It still walks off of the counter. I plan to make a counter that secures it a little better. It doesn't heat up as much as my previous one and the bowl arm hasn't crapped out yet. I love this mixer!
