This fan works, it’s well-made, and it keeps you cool. And the clip-on option can be useful. But it falls short in a few ways:
* The stand is short, and it only has one position.
* The clip only allows for a limited amount of movement. You can change where it clamps onto the fan for a wider range of options, but I still wish that the swivel had a wider range. The current setup limits where you can point it.
* It’s ugly. Fine in a workshop or job site, but I wish there were a non-yellow option for home use.
* It’s somewhat small, which I knew before buying it, but I didn’t realize that it would get somewhat loud relative to its size. I wish there were a medium or large-sized version of this model.
* It requires a three-prong outlet. Not the end of the world, and that’s safer for work. Just something to know.

This model is good. But it fell short of how I was hoping to use it, and I hope that Vornado releases a version 2 that address the current model’s limitations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in my bedroom as a fan as it gets hot while sleeping. It works great to keep the room cool and not stuffy at night the only down side to it is it is loud on the highest setting, it wouldnt prevent me from not buying it though other than that it is perfect!
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Stable Base
Cons: Loud

Attractive look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this in my garage right now. I have cats and love on a dirt road. So there's cat fur and dirt I want blown out of the garage. I have this fan going to help circulate. It is not as powerful as I expected it to be. But it's got a great look and doesn't take up much room at all.

Cons: Unstable

I always sleep with a box fan and take it when I travel, mainly because I am use to the noise, I was surprised how much power this fan had. This is a highly recommended product. I love that you have the ability to hang it or put it on the stand.

Great concept

Just bought this fan and must say it moves air pretty good. Tripod seems sturdy but the ball swivel won't tighten enough to control positioning. The clamp is not strong enough to trust it, so I may return it and find something more sturdy. Would be nice if these parts were improved. If these problems could be resolved I would definitely give it a 5 star review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month ago for a bunk bed and just like all Vornado products, it’s amazing! There isn’t another fan on the market that will move more air than Vornado! I do wish it was louder like the older model Vornado fans as I sleep with a fan mostly to drown out the noise.
