Out of curiosity, are you using this case in conjunction with one of our Alpha Glass screen protectors? Unfortunately, we are unable to test our products with accessories made by other companies, so we can only guarantee 100% compatibility with our Alpha Glass that we engineer and test ourselves. If you have further inquiries on this, just let us know!
As for the side buttons, while they can be a little stiff at first on a brand-new case, they should start to relax after a brief break-in period. If the tenacity persists, please feel welcome to give our friendly Otters a ring at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll help find a quick fix!
