I bought this case to give it a chance on my new Galaxy S9 phone.
Upside: It has a neat graphic of Captain America's shield on the back.
Downside: it does not have a screenless protector - but ok since I have put a liquid glass protector on phone.
Downside #2: the phone jack & charger protectors on this work a LITTLE TOO WELL (thanks, Captain America!) as one has to literally dig their fingernails into said protectors to open ports to charge the phone or listen to music.
Upside #2: it's OTTERBOX. It will do its job as it states it will do - protect your phone.

I gave the phone 4 stars out of 5 because of the flappy protectors being so hard to manipulate, but once it will loosen up I may be able to change the star score. I'm also not too happy about the screen protector missing on this case, but the reasoning given was because it was not feasable to protect the curvature of my S9.
Other than that, please keep up the good work Otterbox!

I bought this because I'm rough on my phones and need the defender series and I love that I had the option to get something in it so it wasn't just a plane case thr only bad thing is that it was pretty difficult to get my phone in the case. I eventually I got it in but for a while I thought the case was too small for the phone. I wish this case came with the screen protecter that the other defender series come with.
I would live to see more cases like this one in the defender series!

This is my first otterbox and I must say, I'll never go back to the basic cover cases. Along with the Captain America (what could be better), the defender case adds complete protection to my phone.
The only downside was with being my first otterbox, directions to put on the case could be more clear. It was pretty confusing and needed help to put the case on.
That being said, I would highly recommend this case!
