Had one of these for the S8 and the phone is in immaculate condition after a year - this one is for the new S9 and again the protection is perfect, covers the edge of the screen in the rubber buffer and the magnetic clasp ensures that the case does not open (once had this happen to an HTC M9 with another case and the screen was scratched by my keys) - Could not recommend highly enough

A bit disappointing

I had the Strada cover for my Galaxy S8, and it was the best cover I've ever owned. Without hesitation, I ordered the Strada for the Galaxy S9 before the phone was even available.
I've been using the Strada for S9 cover for over a month. While the Strada for S8's cover was wonderfully supple, the S9's cover is coarse and stiff, and still isn't lying flat over the phone's screen. The adhesive at the top of the card slot has separated from the backing (after a year of use with the S8, that never happened with my previous Strada), and when the cover is folded back, the inside liner at the top edge of the card slot pokes outward.
A folio cover is a great choice to protect the curved screen of a Galaxy. But this cover falls short of the quality I'd come to associate with Otterbox Strada.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love everything about it except the magnetic strip that holds it together-it needs to be longer. It sticks out, gets caught on things because it does not lay flat againt phone. Would be perfect if this was fixed. Annoying as is.

The Strata is a very stylish case. However it needs more screen protection. If you use your phone with the cover open and drop it, the screen could break. Also, delivery took a long time.
