Excellent trimmer

I typically use my trimmers to dry shave since razors give me razor bumps. With the multiple heads and multiple settings, I am able to give myself a haircut, properly maintain my hairline, and also shave my beard. Better than what I expected, and fully worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Uneven beard with trimmer

The stubble trimmer shaves beardhairs unevenly. This means that the corners of my face has shortly cut beardhairs while other parts of my face will be left with longer hairs, with the beard trimmer set on the exact same setting (same length).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great so far. Only charged it once since 8-14-15. I use it ever other day. Sometimes everyday.

I was kinda hoping this would at least last me about 2 years but I used it for about 6 months and then one day it just stopped working. I was kinda frustrated because a week before it was fine. I think that water got in a place where it wasn't supposed to and it just crocked but when it did work it got the job done and I really liked it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery not holding charge

Initially my razor worked well. The initial charge of the battery done as directed. Battery slowly started holding less and less charge to its current status which is pretty frustrating. "Full Charge" allows trim of moustache and shave only half of face around my beard. At this point the Remington MB4040 is pretty much useless!

Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

I have owned this trimmer for 10+ years and they don't get any better than this. Long and durable use, very long batter life between charges, pop-up mustache trimmer and intuitive adjustment of trimming length. Why Remington doesn't continue to make and sale this trimmer is beyond me. I guess some people just don't like the taste of money. I thought mine had died for good but when I accidentally pushed down on the power switch in the off position a bit more it began to charge one again. I reckon it just developed a slight glitch in the connection over these many years. I ordered the MB 320C thinking my MB4045 was not going to recharge, but to my great happiness it is charging even as I type this. I will keep the MB 320C as a backup since it is most like the MB 4045, but will keep using this trimmer until it dies completely. IF it ever does. C'mon man, do you CEOs even have a clue.
