Not worth it

Not much for writing reviews - usually just read them, but couldn't help it here....
My wife bought me this trimmer for Christmas yesterday. I plugged it in and charged it. Once charged, I tried to change the height and nothing. Played with it for awhile with no results. I did the factory reset and then it made this terrible sound that wouldn't shut off. I had to leave it in the bathroom and shut the door.
Once the sound stopped - the raczor seemed to work. Put it down and picked it back up an hour later - and nothing. The raczor turns on, but the only control that works is the speed control. The up/down buttons are too tempermental. This is to hit or miss for me - I need something that will work everytime I pick it up.
The appearance is nice and the concept is great, but I'll be returning to the store later looking for another trimmer, and it won't be this one.

Good Overall Value w/ Sleek Look

Honestly I bought this product because it looked cool but after I started using it more I really like the performance. I wear stubble on my face but what's nice about the product is once your done trimming it's really easy to bump up the length and hit my side burns. Overall, I'm really happy with the product and would recommend.

I got this trimmer for Christmas, and it is the best one i have ever owned. The touch screen controls work great and allow for precise control. I have had this for three weeks and have not had to recharge the battery yet. This is an all around great item!

Great Gift!

I recieved this beard trimmer for christmas this year, and I would say it ranks with the best of the christmas gifts I recieved. I just pick it up and it's ready to go. I have used the trimmer 3 times and I haven't had to recharge it once. It gives a great, even trim and takes almost no time to use. I can't say enough good things about this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DOES NOT WORK

Although the idea, concept, and mechanics are great. The product does not actually work. The Battery dies immediately (even when it says it is fully charged. The indicator will say it is fully charged, but then not work or last 3 seconds. It won't even work while plugged in. Many people have noticed this error.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a Trimmer

This is not the first Remington trimmer I've used. That said, it functions about the same as any other trimmer I've used. It seems to make easy work of trimming heavy beard which is good, but the real reason this trimmer is interesting is because of the interface, yes, interface. It is a finicky interface.
I've noticed that while trying to set the trim length, the power adjustment will occasionally change, not a big deal, but something. Also, it was a bit tricky to get the thing to stop at the length I wanted. Once I got that down though, making sure the trimmer was at the right length every time was easy as long as I remembered the number.
The function lock is good, it makes accidental changes less likely. As a stubble trimmer, you can get it pretty close. Maybe even close enough to go into work depending on the thickness of your beard.
All in all, a decent trimmer. Not sure of the gimmick is worth the price tag though, especially because no accessories or travel pouch were included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find this to be a good trimmer! At first the touch control was a little tricky but after using it and playing with it a little I figured it out. Adjusting the length works well and is very precise but you need to figure out how to move it. I found that it works opposite from the way that I expected.
Also, there are really only two pieces to this: The trimmer and the charger. Awesome. No more fooling around with 20 different attachments!
Very good product.

Needs some work

The first one I bought, the groomer wouldn't stay in place (even when locked), so they sent another one. The new one goes crazy when you touch any controls and will start going through all the settings and different speeds at the same time. I am not sure how long this product has been out, but the touch screen is not working. It is also very expensive for a cheap plastic top. I am sending it back and not purchasing another one from Remington, sorry. Very nice customer service though :)
