Not enough power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this razor out over the course of a month. It's doesn't clog up and was easy to clean. The recharge time on it is great, 5 minutes for 30 minutes of shaving. The detailing trimmer is awkwardly placed and didn't work well. The heads pivot in toward each other but not outward or even separately. I found myself going over places a few times to get a clean shave.
I would suggest increasing the power so the blades can cut better. Moving the trimmer might help it, but having a separate trimming kit is easier. Letting the heads pivot on their own would probably result in a better shave.

Great Value for Your Dollar

Ergonomically, the shaver feels good to hold in your hand. It's flexible heads allow for a smooth, close shave. I like the fact that you can use tap water to rinse out the shaving head. The digital battery readout and quick charge feature add a nice touch.
The online package may have been a Christmas special, but I found the shaver, bundled with a replacement set of cutter heads, for about what you'd pay alone for the shaver. This added value sold me on purchasing this product.

Close shave, Lightweight, Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The R5 Power Series Rotary Shaver by Remington gave a very close shave. It was very easy to use. The trimmer worked well and was easy to push the button and pop it up for use. I like that It is very lightweight compared to the last shaver I had used. I gave it a quick charge right out of the box and it did work just fine. I did put it back on the charger for a full 24 hours before I used it again, Since it did state to charge it for 24 hours before the first use. The head is easily removed for cleaning. Overall it is a very good shaver!

What a great shaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I have yet to be disappointed by a Black & Decker product but I am AMAZED with this shaver. It looks great in the package, but once removing it, it's one sleek piece of grooming machinery. It fits great in the hand and is the perfect weight. Solid, but not overly heavy. Using it is a breeze. It gives the closest shave I've ever had out of an electric shaver. The pop up grooming tool is an added bonus. This shaver will literally shave minutes off of your daily grooming ritual. It is now my go-to for quick and precise shaving. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again should something happen to mine. Definitely a well thought out and built product!

An electric shaver worth using!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is not normally a fan of electric razors. He doesn't feel like they provide a close enough shave and they tent to really irritate his skin. He tried the R5200 Series Rotary Shaver and he says it works better than others. The pivoting triple heads with titanium-coated blades provide a close, smooth shave which results in less irritation. Around the mouth, especially above the top lip, it doesn't get as close. He thinks the shaver works best when used daily or every other day at the longest. He's a big fan of the 5 minute quick charge that provides enough power for one shave. A full charge takes just 90 minutes supply 60 minute of cord free usage. A cord is supplied as well. The shaver itself is sleek looking and fairly light. He's happy overall with the Remington R5200 Series Rotary Shaver.

I have used different electronic razor before but this one has got to be the noisiest... it also hurts when i shaved too. The trimmer, mini screen, and price is excellent.. but i traded this back in for a Philips without the trimmer since its quieter with better shave.

It's been difficult to find a razor at a reasonable price that works good and this one does. Removes all the whiskers without having to apply a lot of pressure to the face or neck.
