Great Features but has problems reading some disks

This player has all the bells and whistles built in but when it comes to actually playing a 3D movie I find myself having to open, then close the disc tray a few times before it starts reading the disc. I own several different models of Samsung blu-ray players and never had this issue with those. The discs are clean , as is the player in case that's what you we're just thinking , along with the latest firmware . I do like the features with this player and it does work most of the time,
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Just hooked it all up last night with HDTV and was blown away with the quality of picture. Easy to operate and all in all a great deal.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

Great Blu Ray player!! Love that is also has the smart hub so I can do everything in one place. Very easy to use and to hook up. I would highly recommend.

Great blu-ray player for the $$

We got a new Samsung Smart TV with 3D capability, so finally decided to take the plunge and get a blu-ray player to go with it. Since we had no previous experience with blu-ray, the first player (BD-E5700) turned out not to be capable of playing 3D movies, which was a shame, because we liked the small footprint for easy palcement on our TV stand. We had to return that one and got this model (5900) and after an easy hookup and setup, we watched "Finding Nemo" in 3D on our new 60" Plasma "SmartTv". All I can say is WOW!- The 3D was as good or better than what you see in a theater. We were extremely impressed. Since we have only used once thus far, I can't speak to reliability, but if it's like the other Samsung products we have had, I expect no issues. I'll come back and ammend this review if any problems arise.

Pretty good product and everything works well except my HULU Plus.
It should've came with a more detailed instruction manual. Other than that I'm enjoying it very much.

This 3D Blue ray player performed as advertised, coupled with my new Samsung 3D TV and my Surround system, I got the Theater experience in my Comfy Chair,,what more could i need
