Not used to dryer sheets only, recommended for this unit, but liquid does work in the wash, and i need to use up the 2 gallons i already had. So far it works okay in the wash.

If you are looking for a washing machine that gets the job done without all the bells and whistles, I would highly recommend this washing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are hard working ranch owners and we get dirty. We bought a new HE machine and I found myself adding water to the drum by bucket fulls. It just did not have enough agitation and water depth to get the dirt out. This machine does! This machine is not the quietest I ever owned but the job it does at cleaning our jeans and even blankets, is worth it. It has an HE setting for smaller loads (as it does not have load size settings) and only fills about 1/2 of the drum. I love this machine and am very glad I bought it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
