Great Product!

we bought this unit in october 2019 for our portland, oregon condo. looks great, excellent build quality, the sound level is not loud and love the tones when you push buttons, very subtle not annoying at all! intallation was very easy. we just moved in july 2022 to atlanta, georgia. we are about to order the same unit again for our home we bought here. good job samsung.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware this only is able to connect to a range. IT DOES NOT HAVE WIFI. I am hoping this takes away any other potential buyers problems. All I have gotten is support telling me yes I am correct it does not have wifi. It does not function with the SmartThings app as the app doesn't support the model. Look at other smart home range hoods if you want to connect it.

i buy month ago range top modal nx60t8711ss and this range hood i am very disappoint about connectivity and when you review on line there in misleading, how to connect bluetooth if no have bluetooth option in range, product have no problems just misleading is big issue

Sorry to hear you are having problems connecting to Bluetooth with your Hood. I can tell you are annoyed, and we want to do all that we can to fix that. To connect your device with Bluetooth, follow these steps here.
1. Press the Bluetooth button on hood. The pairing mode will be
activated and the indicator on the Bluetooth button will blink.
2. Press the Bluetooth button on the cooktop. If you still need assistance, you can try contacting our SmartThings department by calling (866)8132-404. Thank you for your review. ^Pat

Only missing one thing

Unfortunately the Bluetooth doesn’t connect and it doesn’t have the Samsung smart connection to make it more convenient and efficient for our new smart home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another review about bad connectivity

Another review to complain about compatibility. Samsung do better with your advertising.
Just finished having this and an oven installed. Worked directly with Samsung to ensure compatibly before purchase.
Weeks later and after 25 minutes with technical support, we realized the recommended oven is not compatible with the recommended hood.
Again massive failure by Samsung advertising and support department. Why are these hoods not direct connect, and why is there no list that plainly shows compatibility. I'm sure that's why sales messed up, as they have no documentation either.
I have also talked with order support team, their only remedy is for me to return the hood. That is not an option, my old hood has been thrown away and the new one is completely installed.
The product itself is fine.
