Hood not compatible with range.

the concept is great, but there is no listing of compatibility with certain ranges. my range has blue tooth, but won't connect to allow use of all of the features. that was the reason that i shelled out the money for the very expensive hood. i am going to push for an exchange of the range, or a complete refund.
very bad deal from samsung!

Poor Bluetooth Pairing

Having the hood and cooktop paired is a great way to maximize the capability of the hood, Gini. Let us go ahead and help you maximize the potential of your appliance.

This appliance has a feature that allows you to pair compatible Samsung cooktops and your hood via Bluetooth. After you enable this function and pair your hood and a compatible cooktop, the hood fan will automatically come on at Low speed when you turn on a cooktop element. The hood fan will also shut off automatically when you turn off the cooktop elements.

Poor Bluetooth Connectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems to work very well but the bluetooth connectivity to my cooktop is very poor. I called Samsung and they could not help. Thank goodness for the Geek Squad. they finally got it to connect but it has lost connection again.
