Great overall laptop

Love the laptop overall. It’s fast and handles pretty much anything I can throw at it. Only wish it had a more reliable wireless card. Every so often it loses connection and have to reinstall the driver to get it to recognize the wireless card again.
Also when plugged in the power supply gives off an audible noise that sounds similar to a hard disk reading.

Solid Desktop Replacement

Let's just say this thing is a beast! It does everything I ask of it and doesn't slow down. Overall, I'm thrilled with it.
My only complaints are in the documentation and configuration (BIOS). The manual is basic user information that lacks detail for more advanced users. Maybe I'm expecting too much after years of building my own desktop machines, but I would've expected at least a diagram of the mobo layout/specs. Instead, a large portion of the manual is dedicated to using Windows 10. Really?! I'm guessing that most people who are buying a laptop at this level already know all they need to about the OS or at least don't need to look up features like keyboard shortcuts and windows snap in the laptop's manual.
Moving on to the BIOS... This almost makes me want to box it up and send it back but I did get a really good price that I doubt I'll beat elsewhere so I think I'm just going to suck it up and live with the disappointment that comes from having an essentially worthless BIOS. I don't know, maybe I'll find the work-around but I shouldn't have to find a work-around to a BIOS that is ~90% grayed-out/disabled. Again, it's almost as if a machine that only the more advanced users would buy has been configured like they're selling it to grandpa buying his first flip-phone from the geek-gaggle at the local WalOkBuyMart. I realize that this part of my review comes off as scathingly negative, but I feel like a locked/disabled BIOS on a machine at this level deserves a bit of pitchfork-raising/ax-grinding. Bad on ya ROG. </endrant>
Still, this laptop is insanely awesome. It's just not as awesome as I would like to make it if I had an easy option to do so (BIOS Raid0 on upgraded M.2 NVMe drives where OS could install to).
Benchmarks are really impressive and I haven't thrown anything at it that it can't handle nicely!

I bought this product a couple of days ago for using in college. It has, so far, been greatly simple to use and has faced no issues facing what I’ve thrown at it. I would have preferred if it’s imbedded systems weren’t so bloat heavy, but they can be easily removed.
