My boys love this trex!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love dinosaurs and this Tyrannosaurus Rex has been a fun addition to their collection. It is very well made! It’s a hard plastic that seems sturdy. Good thing because my boys like to have dinosaur battles! The sound effects make this so cool. It has stomping sounds when it walks and makes a great roar!

A must have for any Jurassic fan!

After seeing the reveal of the new Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom toys at the Toy Fair in NYC I knew that I had to get them! The Thrash 'n Throw Tyrannosaurus Rex is a wonderful addition to any collector and kids will love her. She has five distinct sounds to entertain. The left foot has a button on the sole that when pressed activates and stomping sound to alert anyone nearby that she is approaching. The tail can be pushed upwards to have the Rex move her head down with jaws agape to chomp on any prey. When doing this action she has two different sounds that will play. If you move the tail to the left or right the head will shake in the opposite direction accompanied by sounds of her thrashing. Finally if you push her tail downwards her head will rise and her mouth will open to let out a deafening roar that is accurate to the movies which allows for great recreation of kids' favorite movie scenes. The sounds all come for a voice box located on the bottom of her belly along with the battery compartment which needs only a Philips screwdriver to remove. For those who enjoy collecting and prefer to display their Jurassic toys you will be happy to know that her packaging has her out and visible for all to bask in her glory.
In conclusion the Thrash 'n Throw Tyrannosaurus Rex is a wonderful and beautiful looking figure with move accurate sounds and sculpt with plenty of action features to keep adults and entertained for a long time.

What a great hit for my grandson

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bring this monster to my grandson's birthday, you cannot imagine how excited he is. This T-Rex is a big hit!
This T-REX figure has sound effect features like chomping and stomping, an impressive roar and a HUGE bite and those boys at birthday party play together for a whole day.
This T-REX is about 21 inches long which is just the right size for a little boy at age 5. The paint and sculpt on this figure are great too.
Overall the quality of this T-REX is really very impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs and this toy is exactly the kind she loves! It makes stomping noises when you move it along the ground and it roars! The chomping action is pretty fun too since she can pretend tht a mighty t-rex is loose in her "dino park". It's easy to play with and control. The toy feels sturdy and the tail (where to control the movements) is very easy to push and pull up and down.

Fun, but not perfect, toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (especially my 4 year old son) love dinosaurs, so I thought this would be a great toy for them. This dino has a number of neat features - a button on the bottom of one foot creates a "stomping" noise when you press it or push the foot into the floor. When you hold the dino and push down or up on the tail, it makes roaring noises and/or snaps its mouth open and shut. You can also pull the tail left and right to simulate a "thrashing" motion that will toss any smaller toy dinosaur out of this one's mouth. My only criticism of this toy is that the sounds and motions are fairly difficult to control using the tail (I played with it a bit myself to see if I could get it to respond in the way I wanted it to, and I had trouble especially with the downward "chomping" motion. In fact, we have another similar dinosaur from another company that has fewer functions but more precise control of the chomping and roaring motions. Since an adult struggles to get this one to work precisely, obviously a preschooler won't be able to do it. That said, my son and daughter don't seem to care much that it doesn't respond perfectly. They just like the sounds and that the body can move in so many different ways. I'd recommend this toy for dinosaur lovers everywhere!

Even at the age of 30 this figure makes me smile. 1 of the best of this new line. Great sound effects, and features. Sculpt and paint on point. Really a great toy for hours of interactive fun.

Getting one for my LIONEL train set-up

I’ve never seen a train layout with a reasonably detailed Godzilla or T-Rex as part of it to bring to life the old concept of a prehistoric monster taking out it’s rage against the modern society. Descriptions say this T-Rex is about 2 feet long which sounds like it is about right for the LIONEL O-Gauge trains that I have. This should be cool !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my children have loved playing with the Jurassic World Thrash 'n Throw Tyrannosaurus Rex Figure! The great thing about this toy is that it is usable as soon as it is taken out of the packaging (no worrying about putting anything together). My children thought it was easy to use and "figure out". Their favorite part about the toy is the ability to "chomp" on other smaller dinosaur figurines. The T-Rex has proved to be a very durable toy. The dinosaur has "battled" with other toys and even the ground, all the while never sustaining any damages to the plastic or the coloring. My children have absolutely loved this toy and the durability has made me love it as well!
