So much fun

Great Concept!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons were excited to try this out. They set everything up so they could shoot the car into the barrels to knock them down. First attempt, the lid flipped up on them causing the tracks to break apart. Second attempt I helped hold the lid down and the car shoot out and knocked the tracks off. I attempted to lock the tracks in place but they don't actually lock in place. There is a hole for a tab to go in to the track but it doesn't actually hold the track in place. The kids still had fun shooting cars around our living room but give up on the tracks. On the plus side the bin makes a good storage option for some of their match box cars especially when we are traveling. If there was a better way to lock the tracks in place I would give this 5 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7-year-old son was the recipient of this Hot Wheels set, and he loves it! It is easy for him to set up on his own, and provides a lot of variety with the different ways it can be played with. The car launcher on the lid works well, but you do have to use your other hand to hold it in place when you pull the launcher back. My son had to get used to not putting his hand near the launcher or the car when holding the lid down, but it was a quick lesson. He enjoys playing with this set!

Engaging Toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Stunt Bin comes with two tracks, launcher, a jump, a Hot Wheels car and six cups for stunts. The bin doubles as a carrying case and stunt prop. This set also comes with a set of directions for setting up 4 different stunts. Initially, my 5-year-old daughter had a difficult time getting the cups to stay in place for the stunts. The grooves on the bottom took some practice aligning to get them just right. However, once she had it figured out it came easy. The most difficult part was getting the launcher to stay in the correct place when pulling back the cars. This was somewhat frustrating to my daughter because it made the stunts fail. After a bit of practice, she found good hand placement to keep it steady. She had a great deal of fun trying out the stunts that the included booklet describe but had the most fun creating her own stunts. I think that is the best part of this product. It stimulates the imagination and gets kids thinking about cause and effect. A great STEM tool!

Fun but flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for kids that like cars and Hot Wheels. It comes all packaged in its own box which is convenient. However, there’s a ton of parts which = lost pieces. It’s a tiny bit difficult to put together. My 8 year old was unable to do it alone. Once together, he liked playing with it but grew bored after 15 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great gift for the race track fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as my son dug into the box, he was over the top with joy... " I can use building blocks with this track". So it's not just your typical race track, it also gives you the option to use Meg's Bloks (some included) to build up ramps and help use their imagination while connecting with other Hot Wheels tracks. **Bonus for parents** it comes in it's own box that can easily store everything, and the kids can use it to hold the track for elevated bends or straight aways.
