Bad electronic components

This microwave/ wall combo came with new Pulte home. Everyone in new community talks about the same problem. Unit shuts down and won't operate. Then eventually it resets with wrong time and date and starts working until the next time. Had electronic part replaced only to find even more occurrences. These units should be recalled. With our current technology it's hard to understand this type of problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great but failed after a week

We bought a new house with this appliance already installed. It looks great, but the touch display failed after a week! I'm glad we didn't choose whirlpool when considering new fridges. I saw another review where this also occurred. Not a good look when Whirlpool proudly displays "Made In America" stickers. Whirlpool, I hope you make some quality control changes in your manufacturing.

Mediocre Software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this about a month. The timers for the microwave and regular oven use the same format: hh:mm:ss but the regular oven doesn’t use the seconds section which is not straight forward.
We are already having to have it serviced because the control panel goes out and we have to reset it with the circuit breaker. When I used the steam cleaning function the oven dripped water out of the front almost the entire time.
The service department was helpful in setting up the service call but the earliest appointment was two days out and the time window is 8 hours, so I may be waiting all day to get it looked at.
The oven has no proofing setting and doesn’t allow the temperature to be set low enough to do it manually. I would think this could be done with a software update.
The instructions aren’t clear on how the convection temperature versus conventional settings are accomplished when using the convection settings.
The oven does preheat quickly even without using the rapid preheat function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
