My family and I love the “Escape Room in Box” series of games. What sets these apart from other escape room style board games, is the level of detail and interactive components. They are challenging and we’ve managed to “beat” 2/3 but hoping to have more versions come out!!

Missing pieces

Our family loves escape room games. I bought this because my daughter loves werewolves so I knew she would be interested. She also loved that it had actual locks! Super awesome!!
I would’ve loved to give it more stars but we were missing pieces (bummer) so we couldn’t complete it without using the answers. thank goodness there were hints, and answers included! Yes these games are one time use, but it’s cheaper than going out to an actual escape room.

Fun Game but one time use?

I suggest that they put the game is one time use on the box before you buy it. We had fun, but now it's useless so we are giving it to friends to play and they can pass it on from there. $30 is a bit pricey for one hour use.

I happen to come across this game and I am so glad I did! Was so exciting, felt like I was in an actual escape room! The only thing I am sad about is not being able to play again! Mattel should create different versions! Hope you do!

BEST ESCAPE ROOM GAME!

I have bought this and the “Flashback” one and they are both so much fun! Everyone I played with agreed this is one of the best escape room box version we have ever played! I like how it is more interactive than others. It really feels close to being at an escape room. I hope they keep making more!

Not all puzzles and pieces were in the box.

We purchased this completely wrapped and unopened. During the game, we realized certain puzzles were not in the game at all. What would’ve been P3, P4, P5, P6, and P7 were nowhere to be seen. The lock for the antidote was broken and wouldn’t re-lock. There was no key for the padlocked box. The 4 pieces to assemble an animal skull only had the teeth particles, nothing else. This was a very disappointing first time experience with this company. The other puzzles that we had were alright. More likely won’t continue with this brand.
