This is a fun and well made toy. MY daughter who is 3 loves is has really excited her imagination of the water and swimming. Very well made in all aspects of the toy and packaging was not excessive.

I got this for my 3 year old, Barbie obsessed daughter and she is beyond thrilled with it (as is her nearly 8 year old sister who has also been playing with it). She loves the fact that the clothes change colour in the bath and that she can pretend to be in the sea with Barbie - all of a sudden she is actually excited about bath time! She needed some help to fit the snorkel and mask but was able to put on the fins and clothes herself and she especially likes the squirting dog. My older daughter really liked the dolphin and I was impressed that it was able to make noises with no batteries required, which is definitely a bonus!

Very pretty mermaid. And cute dolphin. The dolphin squirts water. And is a lovely colour. The mermaid tail lifts straight up to turn into a dress. At 1st I couldn't work out how to do it. You need to put her arms straight down then put the tail holes through her arms. I couldn't see any instructions to do this. Her bra and tail change colour when they are hot which is good as she will be played with in a hot bath. I love the pink colour in her hair. There is loads of imaginative play. She looks better as a mermaid, in my opinion. But a very unique feature to change her from mermaid to person, very easy when you get the hang of it. Flip flops will probably get lost. And a nice hair brush is included. I just hope her hair will stay nice, as normally all barbies hair goes horrible after being in the bath. As i havent put her fully in the water yet. There was some sort of hair spray on her hair, so maybe that will protect it from the water? Overall im really happy with this mermaid barbie. Very pretty. Love it.

This is a very nice set which definitely appeals to a 3yr old. She plays with it on land and water and won't have a bath without Barbie doing some diving with the lovely pink noisy dolphin! An added attraction is the colour changing top, also the cute little dog with surfboard. Bit fiddly trying to get him to balance on the board,but a bonus is that he squirts water. Barbie generally loses her accessories but the flippers and goggles set stay on, so we aren't forever hunting and attaching small parts. I think this toy is versatile and has plenty of scope for imaginative play.

My daughter absolutely loves playing with this toy. Barbie’s Colouring changing Top never stops intriguing her, as she loves to make it change colour. Her puppy on a surfboard is lots of fun in the bath and water because her squirts water, which is hours of fun and the pink dolphins flipping tail and dolphin noises really finishes off the whole sea theme. Highly recommended as a versatile toy, as my youngest can play with parts of it too.
