I purchased this years birthday wishes Barbie and she is great! Her ''dress'' is not a dress, but bodice and skirt. Her hair is styled half up and wrapped around the hair tie. This is weird but one of her earrings is in her ear instead of her ear lobe. Her shoes do not have sculpted bows, but no one will see them anyway. Overall, a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys dolls.

A Beautiful Doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this Birthday Barbie Doll first came to my house I felt like she was too pretty to have my niece play with I wanted to keep her in her package forever. Mattel did a great job with this Barbie her dress is stunning and I was very impressed with all the small details. We took her out of her packaging and my neice was happy she was more poseable then other of her barbies. She also comes with a stand so you can position her we did a small photo shoot it was so much fun. I love the thoughtful mess they put into this doll there's even a nice story on the back. A special doll for a special girl. This Barbie is definetly more sturdy then others I have seen my neice put her through the ringer and her hair still isn't messed up! Very good quality. This gift would be a nice tradition to give one for each birthday so she can have a collection. I love the sentiment. I got this Barbie free for my honest unbiased review.

Great classic doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children are boys, who showed no interest in this doll (despite my offering it to them), so I gave this to a good friend with a 5 year old daughter. She feel in love. She loved the dress and the glitter/sparkles. She said her favorite part was the skirt and the pearls. She also said that this Barbie has nicer hair than her other Barbies (for what it's worth, I didn't notice the hair being anything special, but I will take her word for it as she is the expert). I asked her what would make the doll even better and she said that since it's a birthday Barbie she would like it to have a birthday cake. I thought that was a fair point. Overall, a huge hit.

Such a pretty Barbie!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This birthday wishes Barbie was the perfect present for my soon to be 7-year-old! I let her open this present early and she adored it. Barbie's outfit is fantastic. The skirt is so pretty and whimsy. The top bodice has a pearl trim all around the neckline which is not something I have ever seen before with any previous Barbies. The birthday wishes Barbie also has very pretty drop pearl earrings which are adorable. This Barbie also came with her own certificate of authentication which was just a nice extra. Barbie never fails to disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Birthday Wishes Barbie doll is very beautiful and was a great surprise for my daughter. She was never into barbie dolls, but this one she is really enjoying. The arms and legs move easily, the dress is pretty, and the hair is easy to brush and smooth. My daughter just loves it. Only complaint is the stand that comes with the barbie to keep her standing doesn't work very well.

The dress is just beautiful and it is now her favorite one of her dolls. Great quality, I almost didn't want her to take it out if the box. She was just too excited not to!
