I bought the months ago, great sound quality but "TV Connect "and "Bluetooth" loses connection and contains cracking sound.

WOW. That was my initial response to these speakers. First off I am a serious audiophile. I have closet's full of equipment I swap out from time to time, a little bit of audiophilia nervosa you might say, I say passion. But when my significant other suggested I get a soundbar for our living room I was less than excited about it. I tried one and it was back to the store the next day. But when I came across this option the excitement finally set in. First of all I love the aesthetics of them from the multi finish exterior the the digital screen on the main unit. The lows of of the woofers are quite a surprise that usually would cost much more from a driver of its size, lots of depth and very solid with a nice quick response. The mid driver also is great I really appreciate the fact that they put separate enclosures together for proper interior volume for a truly dedicated mid woofer. The rear port plus very well to blend the sound into the living space and diffract off the back wall when adjusted in room . Excellent transient response from the low to high mid range sound, very warm and tonal. It's as if they communicate with they're surrounding and present a much larger soundstage. And finally the horn tweeter. From the shape of the enclosures to the unit itself it is almost the key special ingredient that sets these speakers over the top. Admittedly slightly disappointed in the plastic hollow enclosures for them. After building such a heavy solid foundation. I get it though for access of repair and the fact that it's just a tweet. But good god I am so impressed at the range of notes that these hit with such ease and smoothly blend in with the mid woofer to create such realistic notes from vocals to brass and woodwind instruments to high hats and symbols. The only way to describe the deep rich warm sound that this whole package delivers is delicious. Desert for the ears. I could not be happier or more surprised by an all in one digital speaker system. Thank you Samsung your r and d team and desing team truly struck gold here. And speaking of dessert, I would love to have seconds. Is it possible to pair a second set to the first as surround sound speakers. Or pair a Samsung sound bar with separate subwoofer and satellite speakers together?

Beautiful and effective floor speakers

I own a Samsung laptop, smartphone, washer and dryer, and Smart TV. I got these speakers the day after I upgraded to my new Samsung Smart TV, on a Black Friday sale.
I don't know why the Samsung TW-J5500 Sound Tower is categorized on this and other sites as a "sound bar," because it is quite the opposite. This large and impressive pair of floor speakers provide excellent stereo sound and features that work particularly well with my Samsung Smart TV.
A small receiver is built into the top of the right speaker. The unit features FM radio and USB inputs, but it really shines as a Smart TV speaker system. It connects by Bluetooth or optical audio to my late-model Samsung Smart TV, automatically turning on and off with my television and allowing for volume adjustment via my Samsung remote. However, it does come with its own little remote that works great for its other features.
The two speakers connect to each other with a thin black cable, so it's not entirely wireless. The FM antenna hangs off the back of the right speaker but can be clipped into the built-in cable management system. At close to 3 feet tall, these towers are big, very heavy, super shiny, and in my opinion a far better looking speaker solution next to my 65" television than the current crop of tiny-speakered sound bar offerings. My 6-month-old kitten jumped on top of it and it never wobbled a bit.
Bluetooth sound was good; I didn't notice a difference between Bluetooth audio and the optical cable quality while streaming Pandora or Netflix. The 2.2 system offers two tweeters, two mids, and two subs , one on each side. While these floor speakers won't rattle your windows, I find I haven't had to turn the system to maximum volume yet. I found half- to two-thirds power is plenty to fill up my fairly large living room.
Once or twice it failed to turn on auto-magically with my TV, so I had to get up and press the "on" button. I also wish Samsung had thought to include an audio disc player in the right speaker receiver, which would have allowed me to toss out my component CD turntable. Despite what you may have read elsewhere, these speakers do not have HDMI inputs. These speakers do not have an audio out jack, so if you go this 2.2 path you're giving up surround sound (unless you split your optical sound signal at the source, I suppose). Other than these minor issues, it's been excellent. Highly recommended!
Oh, at first my wife wasn't sure she liked the appearance of floor speakers, but she got used to it quickly -- particularly when I pointed out that these shiny new speakers were replacing an old side table, giant Onkyo receiver, CD turntable, 12" subwoofer, left and right 10" bookshelf speakers, and a whole mess of wires and extra remotes. Now she's a fan!

Great sound, love the tweeters

Alot of deep bass and clear crisp high, it is loud. Music sound so clear. I love the design on the front but be careful when wiping the front where designs are they tend to get scratch easily, use soft cloth like you would on a screen. Another thing I don't like is that it's way too big, if you live in an nyc apartment you might have some problem placing it around your tv. Other than that I highly recommend it.

This product sounds amazing and is such and awesome value for its price. I stored all my favorite radio stations, stream all my fave songs including Pandora, and watch movies with the surround on! I love it!
