Everytime I switch on the soundbar, my wifi which works on 5ghz immediately slows down like crazy. Anyone else facing this issue who can suggest a solution?
Was a little nervous about this one since I hadn’t been able to test it prior to purchase but it is awesome. Great bass and surround sound is much better than I had anticipated! my only complaint is that I can’t turn the center channel up a little more for movies.
I’ve had this since super bowl weekend and let me just say that the sound is amazingly clear with endless bass to go with it, can’t go wrong for the price....only problem is the arguments with the wife about the tv room rumbling with bass
Have been shopping around for the last year or so for a sound bar that can handle a 20 x 20 great room without going over my 1000 dollar budget...came in well under and was amazed how it brought my old TV to life!!! Been a JBL customer for over 40 years and yes they still BRING IT!!!
I bought this about 30 days ago and so far i am very happy with it's overall sound and features. Very easy to connect and get up and running. The Wireless 10" subwoofer is the best wireless soundbar subwoofer i have heard. Plenty of bass. Rear speakers and mounts are a genius and work well! I was surprised. Make sure you calibrate them with the included mic and wall mount them for best performance. Don't just set them on coffee tables or stands on each side of couch. Remote is very useful with volume settings for the overall system and independent volume settings for the subwoofer and rear surround speakers. Only real weak point for the JBL 5.1 is during 2 channel or stereo music like thru bluetooth. Not as good as others i have owned but for movies or TV content thru good sources it's a awesome set up!
Excellent value. Good sound, especially the sub. Quality construction and form factor. Doesn't support the ultra high end audio codecs but sound quality is still impressive. Leaving the surrounds attached to the bar doesn't add a ton to the sound stage but for convenience it's helpful to have them functional even when not used as dedicated surrounds.
