Buyer beware this item

Had it for a while then things went horribly bad. It has a static like hum when you hear treble in voices and the woofer sounds like a rumble in the next room that is pretty near constant. It's very frustrating, I want to replace it but it was pretty costly for such a short lifespan. Everything seemed to start right around the end of any warranty and return window.... I wouldn't ever buy again and I have lots of JBL products that I use almost every day for years.

Very happy with this purchase. Sounds GREAT and the flexibility of having the surround speakers to remove from the bar makes it incredibly versatile.

I gave my old soundbar away when I purchased a new TV. I replaced it with one (not a JBL) that I was in no way, happy with. My pickup has a JBL system that I am very pleased with, so I studied JBL soundbars. I decided it would be a good soundbar, so I bought it. It arrived fairly quickly, and I hooked it up right away. I turned it on, and the WOW began. I am really happy with the JBL soundbar experience. I would buy it again and I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable soundbar with BIG sound. This thing rattles the windows! I love it!

Surround sound does not work very well. Hard to hear dialog when watching movies, even at max volume.
