I've had this sound bar set for about 1 year and I can't say enough good things about it. The build quality is great! When I first took it out of the box you could just tell it was a quality built product. They really took their time and designed this right.
The sound is superb. It really fills the room without being distorted. It feels like being in an iMax theater. It's that good. I can't believe it. Especially at the price. Unbeatable.
Batteries in left right speakers fail, impossible to fix. I take pride in throwing this $600 piece of garbage away
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I compared to many of the top brands. This one for the money is the best. Great features for sound adjustment and the surrounds work fine. Now, don't compare to to floor speakers of Hi End Bookshelf speakers. But I found the ARC function per the manual does not work right. And the labels are backwards on the unit. Took a little time to figure this out, now all works fine and power off of TV turns the SB off also. Using the optical out of the Cable box is fine, but does not turn the SB off. Can't give it a 5* due to manual and mislable of ports. Donn't know why another review said the sound was awful, I think they had something else amis and not the SB quality
The sound is great and the sound bar is easy to setup. But it’s a pain to have to charge the speakers. It means you can’t mount or place them on speaker stands because they have to be returned to the base unit to charge. The satellite speakers do have a USB c port. But JBL offers no information on amps or if you can even charge them with a USB.
I know and understand audio I have a high-end system to compare this with.its not as good but for the money and the simple set up I feel its a very good deal , and a snap to set up,
What else can I say but WT...!! In my 460 sq ft den this replaces my bulky 5.1 set up with sweet bassy sound. Best part is you can arrange the wireless satellites to accommodate your situation. This will not compete with a full big speaker system but very close for my room. A+
Sounds incredible just moving the rear channel from the front to the back is great. Not having dudes in my attic disturbing the blown in insulation made my decision.
