Very Solid for the price

I read the reviews on the JBL 5.1 and I decided to give it a go. The sound is very good and the bass really thumps. The removable speakers are a great wireless option that even impressed my skeptical wife. This is perfect system for a small to medium sized room.

Great Soundbar!

We bought this to replace our last JBL, which had lasted for over 10 years. We chose this one because of the amount of HDMI ports. We have had it for about a month and we love it.... the bass is ridiculously loud, great for movies. The convenience of taking off the side speakers is amazing. Feels like you’re right at the movie theater when you place those tiny speakers right behind you. They just plug right back in to charge. The battery lasts for at least 2 movies. We haven’t experienced any issues anyway. No complaints with any part of the sound bar or subwoofer. Turns on with cable box, volume works with regular remote. Bass/volume/source is easily adjustable from the JBL remote, that is included. We love it!

Incredible bass and if you get 2 they piggyback. My neighbors LOOOVE this. JBL has it in the bag. Clean and clear with deep heartfelt bass.

I am still having a problem with the start up. When the TV comes on it shows HDMI!and the bar goes through many #'s and letters. I push the top right on the JBL remote until it is on HDMI2, Sometimes it shuts off and I have to start over. Pain in the butt.
