I have watched too many reviews of many industrial class sound systems but I decided to go with the JBL Bar 5.1 and I am more than satisfied with the design, quality, deep bass, latency, input types and most importantly wireless.
I highly recommend this product for all the bass freaks out there who are looking for a satisfying, breath taking and room filling experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor sound quality, big sound.

Compared to tv speakers it ofcourse gives a lot more "power" to your sound, and especially the subwoofer, but it's not quality sound. For some scenes, build in tv speakers give more detail. However, if you don't much care for sound quality and only way big sound for your tv and powerful bass, this can be useful. Too me it is not. Sound quality is poor.

Ive been extremely pleased
With this sound bar setup. The detachable wireless speakers are a godsend! So nice not having to hide wires everywhere. Not to mention because they’re truly wireless, I can live them wherever I want.

The SOUND!
The fact that you can calibrate the system to how you’d like it setup is an excellent feature. The audio quality is excellent, and I do mean excellent. Now I’m using this for movies and music. When watching movies, you truly get that THX/Dolby theatre experience. Very rich, crisp sounds and rattling bass. Of course if that not your thing you can adjust as preferred. With music, it produces again, very high quality sound. This system replaced my old Bose sound-bar and without question is better.

Sound Quality is not good!

Not fully satisfied on the sound clarity. Its bass is good but poor sharpness/poor treble. If there is an option to increase the treble that will be great!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You can try clicking on the Bass - button from the remote, so less bass will be produced by the system. JBL Bar 5.1

We downsized and love JBL Bar 5.1. We used to have a 7 speaker and 2 subwoofer JBL surround sound system. This can not compare yet for our space it does the job. Love the detachable satellite speakers for sports and movies. I know some have critiqued too much bass and not enough mid range. Just decrease The volume on subwoofer and surround and mid range comes out. Love the Bluetooth and Alexa compatibility. Worth the price.
