JBL Sound Bar 5.1

I looked at several sound bar options and settled on the JBL Sound Bar 5.1. When i first installed it and turned it on I was concerned I had made a mistake . As i used it for a few days the sound has beom richer and has become richer. the frequency range is great ant the dispersion is also wonderful. Very happy with the rear speaker's sound and what the add to the whole listening experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This system BUMPS! Excellent quality that exceeded my expectations. I had almost succumb to the negative reviews by people who obviously don't know how to connect it properly. Was so easy to set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent sound, kicking base

Superior sound with simple setup. Much better than the builtin Bravia speakers, center renders spoken parts intelligible. I have a mid range sound system with sub and this provide a decent run for the money for non musical soundtracks. Action shows with good sound like Westworld sound fantastic. Downside, could not get calibration mode out of Error. And we mounted underneath our 43” Bravia- when the detachable remotes are attached for recharging it is too long!!! But seems remote surrounds are good for 10 hours playtime. All in all better than expected.

Wireless speakers keep getting disconnected

I get a lot of distortion from the rear speakers when I am watching w movie with surrounding sound effect. This is not expected of such a premium product

This isn't the experience we wanted our Customer to have with our JBL Bar 5.1. Please try these steps with the soundbar to isolate the issue. Make sure that the TV is muted, if you're playing audio from the soundbar. Please try to reset the audio settings by pressing and holding the SOUND button on the remote control for five seconds. Outstanding for movies and music!

Being able to move the bluetooth surround speakers for music makes all the difference in the immerse concert hall experience. The bass is deep and shakes the room but can be easily turned down. The center channel is great for voice. I couldn't be happier, at this five hundred dollar price point or higher

Sounded good when I first set it up BUT

I have had this for several months now but in the last month or so the bar won't stay connected to the TV so basically I cant use it. Very disappointed with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor sound

Good concept. Bad sound quality for music. Bass to fake, high frequencies too high and has a tin sound. No warmth
