THE BEST EVER

We were on the market for a surround sound for a while and wanted true wireless. This was the ONE that offered some 'Boom' and true wireless. Although its 2 speakers (that detach) along with the bar.... IT.IS.AWESOME!!

Earth shattering bass!!

I could not be happier with my purchase. This sound bar is great!! I was searching for something that would pack the bass and boy does this deliver. We have a very open floor plan and this has turned our family room into a movie theater. What really reaffirmed this was when I was in the bathroom and it was shacking the pictures on the wall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly good stuff - Tight kick and crisp highs

Im a Harman fan. I have JBL studio speakers, Kappas in my car together with some JBL subs. I also tried the 3.1 version of this system, but the 5.1 is far superior. I just love the kick from this system and the crispness of the highs. The mids tend not to be the best but I would say it is a very good overall system specially at the 500 range.
I have some issues with the HDMI functionality. Sometimes when using my Sony TV remote, this unit simply goes mute. I have to reset the TV which uses android in the background and then it will work again. It's a bit annoying. The Bluetooth connect works as good as with the tiny Flip speakers.
I usually do not separate the speakers for use in the back, but I do use these to widen the stereo imaging when listening to music. Very tight system and it makes all wires virtually disappear so my home office looks nice and clean. The sub pairs like a charm, no issues at all.
Things to improve:
HDMI volume control. Maybe visual overlay on the TV through eARC that shows current listening mode, and other useful details.
I think a more versatile wall mounting is needed to be able to reach studs in the wall and make this system attach better to the wall.
A Bluetooth remote would be a good addition.
I'm hoping for a firmware updates to stay on top of HDMI upgrades to a certain degree.
The controls should be moved forward a bit so these are reachable even when you mount the bar underneath a TV.

When I was in the market for a simple, clean, and versatile home theater setup, JBL 5.1 caught my attention. Mounting and installation was a breeze, and the system offers big boom for the price. True 5.1 with most new streaming shows and sporting events. Highly recommended!!
