In 2019 no Google Chromecast Audio support

Very disappointed that these expensive speakers do not have Google Chromecast Audio support. JBL wants to advertise low-quality Bluetooth instead.

This 5.1 soundbar and10” sub bumps pretty nice!! Nice addition to my other JBL studio monitors in my studio!!! JBL always delivers and never disappoints all they need to make now is WiFi/ Bluetooth ceiling speakers I can install in my whole house... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great concept but sound quality below expected.

Detachable recahrgeable wireless speakers in an excellent concept JBL deserve praise for this. Thumping bass from subwoofer. It disappoints in terms of sound quality in terms of vocal/dialogue separation, rendering some content literally unwatchable due to inaudible dialogue. Music quality - depending on the type of music - varies between awful and average. Does a reasonable job with jazz.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice system

I bought this system about two months ago and right surround speaker is crackling. It happens even connected to the bar. How can I fix it so it dont crackle?

Impressed by the sound quality

I was very impressed by the sound quality, especially from the sub. I have an average size living room with 12' vaulted ceilings and the sound fills the space - no problem. The only challenge I had was with the HDMI ARC seemed to have a mind of it's own and I would loose volume control when using apps on the TV (could be a TV problem too). I simplified the set-up with a single optical out cable and it works perfectly. Another quirk was the soundbar recognized my samsung TV remote volume but not on/off. I used the simple learning procedure to learn volume +- and power and all is well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HDMI ARC Connection Stopped Working

I bought this sound bar and recently after a few weeks the sound bar disconnects from the HDMI ARC audio source after about 10-20 seconds. Turn it off and on again and same thing. I can't get the connection to stick. Finally gave up and switched it to the optical input which appears to be working. The optical is good enough to carry the Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS signals that the soundbar can accept, so the more advanced HDMI ARC connection isn't really needed. But I'm still annoyed that the ARC connection isn't working.

The sound quality is excellent. The control is extensive. The installation is easy. However, the user manual is only bare-bone and can be improved with more content for the basic level users.
