Clear sound, Great bass

Alot of people say the sound is terrible and I thought the same until I used the calibration microphone after placing the surround speakers in the position I wanted them to be. After the calibration the system became louder and more vibrant. The voices came through like I was sitting right next to whoever was talking. The surround speakers came to life letting me hear everything I couldn't on my previous system when I watched some movies again. One word for the sub. BASS!!!! Those of you not happy with the sound I don't know what to tell you. If you haven't calibrated it then you need to. Great sound and overall great system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To start this i will say that the JBL 3.1 my buddy has sounds phenomenal which is why i bought the 5.1, well unfortunately i am very upset with the quality and sound of this product after setting it all up and expecting the nice sound ive previously heard from other JBL bars and woofers, but this thing is as distorted as Elvis Presley’s microphone, the woofer is perfect and sounds awesome but the bar its self is just awful with distortion, i have to max the volume out just to here anything clear or somewhat loud, im not looking for eardrum blowing speakers but come on i paid 500 for this thing I expect it to be loud enough to where i can watch a movie and not have to have the volume almost maxed out. Ive also tested it with Bluetooth music through my phone and its the same thing, its almost like the bar is hesitating to be loud like it sounds like it will dim the sound on parts of songs, I love JBL but unfortunately this product has not been a good experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How to charge

I'm confused as to how we charge the speakers and what to look for when its fully charged. Other then that the system is amazing has great base very good sound quality>

Not what I was expecting

Cons: I bought this product hoping to enjoy the detachable speakers (wireless surround sound experience) when watching movies. However, the connection is extremely poor (yes I have them fully charged). During movies, the sound would comes and goes.
Also, the subwoofer keeps making this annoying static noise every time I turn it on. I tried to move it around but no luck.
Overall, not what I was expected and will return this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive sound

I bought this item JBL BAR 5.1 and is just amazing I’m really happy with it ! I’m a movie and soccer games person and I was always looking for the best system sound that I could listen the clarity of the voice and the bass at the same time and this product it is just the best ! It has many sound options where you can listen the way you want it , also the bar has 2 small speakers on the sides that you can put them anywhere around your living room to listen the smallest sound when watching your TV . You can adjust the volume up and down separately of the 2 small speakers and the bass with out just going one single option for all the system, I’m just impressed and happy , we all love this at my family and friends . If you are looking for best sound , this is the one you need . JBL BAR 5.1. Thank you JBL.

Satellite speaker battery life

Satellite speaker battery life does not last an hour even though it has a 10 hour output time. Product is less than 2 years old.
