Decent speaker but not worth the retail price

I bought a refurbished version of this speaker. I also have the JBL Link 300 and other JBL products like the Charge 2+ (which is an amazing speaker). The JBL 300 and 500 are fairly decent speakers but definitely not worth the retail price for either. I purchased both of these refurbished at huge discounts and I would say those are the prices that worth.
The 500 does not have overwhelming bass as other reviews have stated. It's about right IMO. I have this speaker in the the basement and it can fill the room with decent sound. Mid-range is a little low but highs and lows are decent. I was looking for something with some volume to it and this is it. No troubles getting this loud enough.
I don't use Google Assistant on either speaker so I can't review it. I was able to add these to Google Home speaker groups with no troubles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a Big Warm Sound

I love my JBL Link 500. It has exceptional sound at every volume. I especially love the warm rich sound that can fill my home.

I bought the white JBL link 500, the sound is fantastic and I with the new firmware I can control the bass and treble from the google home app. Great buy!!!
