Great light for fur kids

My wife was at a charity event at a local no kill animal shelter, and in their store came across the SpotLit for our two fur kids. It is great, it is bright, it is visible, it is noticed, and it is durable, strong. BUT, the battery is dead after two weeks, that is two walks each night for about 14 days, these walks are about 20 minutes in length, so 40 minutes x about 14 days, these lights should last a lot longer than this. We are hugely disappointed in that respect, we bought some Durecell batteries to replace, going to see how long they last, otherwise will be added to our junk drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't get cover back on

I think we took off the wrong side of the cover to replace the battery and now cannot get it back on. Any tips?

Don’t buy
on August 12, 2020

Bought on 6/27. Replaced the original batteries once already and need replaced again. The collar is used mainly to take him out at night so very minimally. I would not recommend it unless you have stock in a battery company.

Poor Replacement Battery Design

After the extensive work to get the batteries out then put new batteries in, the button on the device is inoperable. Poor battery compart design for replacing batteries that already don't last long. Due to making the batteries tight to get out and tight to put in and the fact that after replacing my device just doesn't work, I would not recommend to anyone. Just stick with rechargeable lights.

Doesn't last long

After getting this and using it through one battery cycle, it never worked again when I put new batteries in. I only had it for a few months.

Okay but not very robust

I've bought several of these, and they worked fine, but they aren't robust enough to attach to a small excitable dog, The constant flapping motion of a running dog caused the battery connection to the mainboard to fail.
Attached in a more gentle location, like a coat the seem to work fine.

We absolutely love these for our three dogs' collars! Only complaint is when the batteries die and you replace them, they never work the same again. We have to buy a new one everytime. Gets expensive!
