I'm on my third one. Great for walking my Jack Russell when the sun goes down. We both are very visible. When neighborhood is dark this is a great way to let other people know someone with a dog is coming. The changing light color is very unusual and we get lots of complements, "What a great idea!"

Replacing the batteries Pop - NO! Slide - YES!

Love my Nite Ize for my dog Cosmo. But replacing the battery had me totally flummoxed and the answer I found here didn't compute either. Here's the thing: You don't "simply POP OUT THE BATTERY" as suggested here, you SLIDE out the two batteries from the side. That is after you have pried the rubber outside off. Best tool: tiny flat screwdriver. If you've got one for your glasses, you're golden.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't know what more you could ask for. Use it on my dog's collar for walks at night and people always inquire about it. Great Safety device.

I take my dogs a walk every morning in the dark. I use in flashing mode and think they are a fantastic safety items. However, as I am a senior woman, I find it difficult to press for flashing mode, difficult to unclip from dog collar, and difficult to change batteries. Haven't figured out how to chance batteries yet and am looking for instructions (with pictures) on how to change.< p>< strong>Nite Ize Comment:< /strong> We have battery changing instructions on our website. Click on the "downloads" tab on the product page and open the product instructions PDF. Thanks! < /p>

We have these for our pups and use them at the leash free park at night, even though they are small, they are quite bright. For the really dark nights we also have the collar covers which allow us to see them from quite a distance. We highly recommend them.

I have dozens of these spot lights and can not speak highly enough of them. I use them for all sorts of outdoor activities where previously I used cyalume sticks. I really like the new coloured plastic range when will they start making other colours

Love these lights! Found them in a 2 pack so I now have one for each of my dogs. We love walking at night and these lights give off a brilliant light. I can easily unclip them to hand from my zipper when I run. Very sturdy and well made.
