One of my favorite tools right now

I work as a plumber for a school system. These are great for securing cords, hoses, cables, etc. We also use them as temporary pipe hangers, holding open stall doors, hanging work lights, seems like something new at least once a week.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Good Design, Lightweight

We love these ties! My friend has used them for attaching his hook/lure/ line to his pole for a quick pack up. I use them for keeping unsightly wires under control at home and when I travel.

If you tie your "floatie" across the luggage rack, or under the seat, instead of lengthwise, cars give you 3 feet more roadway that usual!

Bivy Problem Solved with Gear Tie

I purchased 64 inch Nite Ize Gear Tie to keep the hood of my MSR Bivy from touching down on my face. It makes my Bivy more like a solo tent. Just bend to fit and problems solved keeping the undesirable elements off your face.

Just like all of the MANY other Nite Ize products I use, These ties seem to be of excellent quality for the reasonable price. I have been intending to try these and switch over from velcro cable ties if I liked them. Well, I love them and am in the process of switching to these for all of my charging cables, usb extension cords, all usb cables, equipment power cords, and anything else I need to restrain to organize.
My son is way into photography and videography. I intended to offer some of them to him to try. Purely by coincidence he had become aware of the existence of this product on a job a few days before when someone he was working with was using them to secure cables to rigging on a set, and he thought they were great. I had also intended to share some of my test order with my wife for her needs. Between the two of them I surrendered 3/4 of my test order which included quite a few units.
Everyone loves them, so I have a "to do" order created for over 200 pieces in different lengths to get us all going.
I can say that the 3" units are best for things like a standard narrow flexible 3 to 5 ft long usb a to micro or c cable. The 6" units are great for slightly larger or longer cables, or braided usb cables for example, and the 12" units are perfect for for things like short extension cords, computer AC power cables and such.
The one larger diameter significantly longer one I ordered will be useful for temporarily holding 2 large item together so you can work on them or for wrapping a large extension cord with enough length left to create the hanging hook out of the unit itself, hanging large items from a roof truss in a garage and many other possibilities for use, even in heavy load situations..
We will have hundreds before we am done. (We have a lot of stuff and I am an "organizer")

Sometimes when fun is to be had, but you don't want to pull out 30 feet of rope and go full shibari, these hold a great place for keeping something or someone tied up.
The hold is strong, but is easy enough to remove for the illusory perspective of being tied down!
