I'm not quite as happy

I'm not quite as happy with this system as I was hoping to be. One drawback is the lack of an ability to backup footage real-time. I wanted to have all the footage store to a NAS in my fireproof safe in the unlikely event someone was to break in and steal the NVR or we have a fire. Not possible with this kit/NVR. I'll have to buy a PoE switch and run all the cameras to it rather than the NVR and then I can access the cameras directly and/or indirectly from the NAS to store my footage there.

Cx's complaint is about not being able to use a Network-attached storage (NAS) to backup footage real-time.

On the Positive side; I

On the Positive side; I really like the deterrent features and the cameras appear to be robust. The two way talk and spot lights have worked well and all eight cameras have these features. It has been very simple to setup the basics and get it running. The system comes with a good warranty as well. Having the system in place gives my wife peace of mind.
On the Negative side; I can not seem to get a manual for the LNK7000X NVR that the system came with. At first the link on the product page did not open to anything and now it opens to the manual for the LNK7000 even though it says it is for the LNK7000X. All thought it is close it is not the correct manual for the LNK7000X NVR. In addition I have been sent two incorrect PDFs and an incorrect hard copy of the manual. All for the LNK7000. I have also been having trouble with the push notifications. They worked great went I first got the system and after two days have been off and on since. Currently they sent a notification to my phone but do not post content on the app. I called Tech support and was told to try the Lorex Secure app instead of the Cirrus app that is listed for this system because of this. It is a newer system for Lorex and I have only had it for three weeks but it still appears to have a few bugs on the support side. If they can get these issues sorted out I would be over the top with the system and would give it a five star rating. It has features that I only see in wireless systems with the dependability of a wired system. As is I am somewhat disappointed but hopefully that will be short lived. It is not issues with the system it is issues with the product manual for the NVR and the mobile app. I would really hate to rethink my purchase because as I have stated I really like the system.
