So Easy!
on June 19, 2013
Posted by: Amanda C
We recently had baby #2, and this time around, we knew that spending a little more on baby gear is worth the added quality, convenience and ease that comes with a more thoughtfully designed product. We couldn't bring ourselves to buy another play yard when the breeze was obviously so much easier to use. No more messing with bars trying to lock them, unlock them- and wondering if the play yard is secure, with the Breeze we push a button to lock it, pull a handle to unlock it- and there's no question of whether we set it up correctly. And Baby is super comfy in it- we couldn't ask for more! Love love love the Breeze!

Safe for checking on plane?
on January 24, 2013

One other comment and question- We just bought the Breeze and love it. We're getting ready for a trip but I'm concerned about checking it on the plane (vs carry on) and it possibly getting damaged. Is the Breeze generally considered safe for checking on the plane and able to handle possibly being tossed around a bit? Thanks! **Edit from 4moms Customer Support: Hi JB - the 4moms breeze is incredibly durable and can absolutely be checked on a plane. Thanks for the question! -K**

Great size and easy to use

What I like best about the Breeze is that you can use it as a travel crib for a toddler. My son seemed cramped in our Chicco play yard, starting around a year, but there is plenty of room in the Breeze and he is almost a year and a half. I also love how easy it is to put together and take down. The carrying case is much more comfortable to carry and easy to use than that of our Chicco. The one thing that our Chicco has that the Breeze doesn't is the changing table option. I liked having the changing table for a newborn. The only concerns I have for the Breeze is that the mattress is so big, I can't find a sheet that will fit it, without a ton of extra material. Also the mattress does not seem very comfortable to me, but my son didn't seem to mind.

Breezy!

I was in between this play yard and the Joovy moon room. But after trying them both out in the store I went for easy vs looks. The Joovy I loved because of the color and the shape. But opening & closing it was not a breeze. So I decided to go with the 4moms instead. I've only had it for 2 days but I'm in LOVE with how quickly I can set it up & take it down. The only thing I found to be an inconvenience was finding the play yard sheet. I had to go to a couple of different stores to find it because most of the local stores didn't have them in stock. But other than that 2 thumbs up.

Only one complaint

We love the breeze, it truly is so simple to set up. I would recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is in regards to how difficult it is to fit it back into the bag when you're folding it all back up. It's a very tight fit! Other than that, it's the perfect play yard!

near perfect

We really like our breeze- so easy to use, tall sides and bigger than many play yards. A few minor complaints: 1) Vertical seam in the bassinet so I have to position baby's head not directly in the middle and now that my 3 month old is wiggling around more sshe wakes up with her head smushed into the sides of the liner. 2) Bassinet low for changing a baby for taller people. 3) Wish there was more room to put the bassinet items in the travel bag. 4) Really hard to find non 4 moms sheets that work well with the bassinet, so we gave up and bought the 4 moms brand 5) yes it's heavy and bulky, but there aren't many play yards that are not.

Just about the perfect play yard!!

We just bought this for our 5th child, due in July. The quality is obvious, the materials are top of the line and it is as easy to operate as the videos show! However, there is one design flaw. The depth of the bassinet makes me nervous, it is fairly shallow compared to our other pack-n-plays. For now, the jury is out on the bassinet. It did hold up to my older 4 climbing in and playing like it was some playground equipment though, and with some maneuvering, we were able to shove everything including the waterproof sheet into the bag. I am very happy with the overall purchase!

Could not be easier to use!

I have used other pack and play's in the past that took two people to assemble, so once it was up you never wanted to take it down! This was so easy that I was able to do it myself at 9 months pregnant.
