The design idea is great. but here are the issues: 1. i fill in the ball with the Pump but as soon as i took the pump needle out, and before i can quickly close the valve on the ball, lot of air leaked out and the ball feels soft. 2. the height of the chair is too low for typing with computer on a table.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Casters could be better

I really do like this ball chair, except the casters do not roll smoothly. I wish it moved around like my old desk chair. Also does anyone else get a "hot" butt when sitting on the chair? Any solutions?

I was amazed how well this works. I have been using it in the afternoons and when I get up my back and hips feel flexible. Usually I am very stiff from sitting for long periods of time. I have already recommended this to a friend. I think it is worth the try for anyone with hip and back problems.

I purchased this for my fiance for Christmas in the plum color. Since she intends to use this at the office, the muted hue of the plum will fit well in a corporate setting, while at the same time appeasing her fine taste in fashion. The only downside was it was difficult to find the clear colored plug amongst all the packing plastic.

I tried this chair for about 3 hours. The next day I could hardly walk. Both of my hips hurt so bad. I am going to try it again a little more each day and work into it gradually. There was nothing mentioned in the brochure about having to work into it gradually.
