About a year ago I purchased 2 of these balance ball chairs, we love them. Only problem is the silver ring that hold the ball in place broke on both of them. I do not see where I can get a replacement

Oh, I had such high hopes for this chair! Got it right after the new year (january 2015) and immediately set it up in my office. The height was fine (I'm 5'7") for working at my desk. I did note the problem with the casters locking all the time when I hit them with my heels, but just moved the front casters to the back. I never locked the chair so the caster locks were not needed. However, last week, I was surprised when I fell over the front of the chair. The metal bar, which is held in with nuts, is bent forward; the metal bar isn't bent, but rather, the area of the plastic chair where the bar attaches has been bent forward and can't be repaired. I've kept the ball inflated, so am not sure what caused the metal bar to bend. But the chair needs more reinforcement in the area where the metal bar attaches. Back to old chair. :-(
I bought this chair this week and it arrived on time. I just tried to put it together but part G, the plug to keep air in the ball, is missing. Please advise.
I bought this chair ball in March and really liked it. I ordered a second one and received last week. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the one I just received, it is much smaller and not usable. Actually my co-worker asked me to buy two more for them but I don't trust GAIAM because of this.
I'm an overweight middle aged man and the chair was ok for about 20 minutes at a time. After the third time sitting on it in 3 days, I've developed a pain in my hip that is nearly debilitating - going to the doctor to get some xrays. I'm not 100% sure it was this chair that caused my problems but seems like it was. My 13-year-old daughter loves the chair so it found a good home.
I have had this chair for a couple of weeks. All the nuts keep falling off the side attachments and the back support has lost its attachments as well. Only one is left. It isn't very well made with pieces that randomly come off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I hoped for

I am sadly disappointed in this chair. I was excited about using it and will give it a bit more time to adjust, but my initial reaction is disappointed. I do not see how this can accommodate up to someone who is 5'11". I am 5'8" and think it is much too short. My knees feel like they are at my chin, making it uncomfortable. I can see how it would help my back, but I don't know if I can tolerate the 'lowness' enough. The ball is fully inflated. Overall, sad.
