This chair has been in constant use since I bought it! Everyone wants to try it. At least one person bought it for his wife for Christmas. I feel so relaxed when the work day is over. Buying a second one for home.
This is my 3rd ball chair. One of the weak componets has always been the wheels. I have needed to replace them on both prior chairs. They simply wear out and won't turn. These seem to be a better quality. Another weak componet has always been the wire bale used to hold the ball in place. They always break, I was surprised to see the design was changed back to this style after my last chair had been redesigned to eliminate this wire bale. Another improvement is the ball is made of a textured softer rubber. No more squeeky noises! I love the fun new color Wasabi!

So I was at first let down with the small ball provided with the chair. The insert said it would stretch to the right size but I was more then skeptical. My desk is actually very short so I didnt mind the low chair. But now that it is stretched to full capacity it fills the chair completely and is quite tall. So just give it a month of stretching/filling and you will be amazed. I give you my word.

I am giving 3 stars because I really like the chair, yet I have had it for less than 6 months and the screw that holds the front metal bar in place has broken. I use the chair on a regular basis while sitting at my desk and enjoy the comfort and flexibility.
My only problem was in not having enough info on blowing up the ball. I thought I had received the wrong ball. The concept of blowing it up gradually over a weeks time is missing. Other than that, I love using the chair.

I was excited when I found out about the chair; my only reservation was that I am only 5 feet tall (just) and I was not sure whether it would actually work at my desk. I took the advice off the website and I measured the height of my current chair and found that the Balanceball might work after all. Well, I've had the ball for several weeks now, and it is amazing. If you are petite and you follow the manufacturer's instructions, the ball does blow up quite big and you can adjust the height quite easily. I'm still able to sit properly on it and work at my desk with no problems.
I work at a desk all day. Hard to get up and move around, with this chair my movement has improved! Easier to get up, my back is better, I feel like I am getting exercise even as I sit at my work station. I would highly recommend this chair for other stuck at a desk persons!

I've been using this chair at work for about 3 years now and my back approves. I can't use any other chair now. However the plastic base is suffering from the constant use. The front bar that holds the ball in place has broken from stress and the plastic is where it attaches is now ovaled out. Now when I scoot around I have to hold the ball in place or it pops out. On occasion sending the chair flying out from under me. I've learned to make it work but it would be nice to see some better construction. Also the chair is noisy. If there where a soft lining on the back of the chair to not make the ball rub it would be silent.
