Plastic breaking down

I took my new chair to the office and used it for three months. It was comfortable and fun to sit on, and and took the pressure off my thighs so that my feet did not hurt when getting up. However, one problem became apparent right away. As soon as I sat down, if the wheels were turned in, the pressure of the frame immediately locked the wheels. This was a real pain, and I was constantly unlocking them so that I could move around. Then, I noticed that the plastic frame is actually collapsing where the wheels are connected. I didn't see a weight limit anywhere, and I am not all that heavy. This is a serious problem. I would not purchase another chair for these reasons.

I had my eye on this chair for a while. I am so glad I made the purchase. It really does promote good posture and is very comfortable. Purchased it for work but I am thinking of getting another one for our computer room at home.

Everyone in my family finds this chair both uncomfortable and far too short for any desk or table in the house. Cheap, plastic base makes it a bit of an eyesore as well. The shipping is pricey, so it's not really worthwhile to return this item.
