I cannot use this chair any longer. After the first several days, my right hip was so painful I could barely walk. And the back of the chair is positioned too far back to be used for anything other than a handle for moving the chair around. This was a very unfortunate purchase for me.
After a few delivery issues, I finally have my ball chair and just love it! It was a bit low for my desk at first but after I followed the instructions on inflating, deflating then re-inflating it now it's perfect! I can actually feel my core muscles getting stronger and my lower back pain has decreased.
I had a ball chair on a previous job and decided I wanted one again. My co-workers are jealous and take my chair when I am off. This chair is great for my lower back and my core as I work on balancing during the day. A regular desk chair would cause my butt to go numb when I was chained to my desk for long periods of time. Also with the ball chair, you don't get the flattened out "chair butt" like you do with regular desk chairs. Two other women in my office want one. BTW... the men like it as much as the women.
I've had one at work for several years. Just got one for home, unless my wife takes it to work. Great customer service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This chair did not work for me at all. Gave me a lower back ache. I tried it for 2 days and had to return. The casters are a real problem as other reviewers also talked about. I found a chair that is lumbar adjustable, arm height adjustable, etc. which is exactly what I need.
I bought this to use at my desk, but it is way too low. As for exercise, I don't know, because I did not use it that way. If it were higher, I would have really liked to use it as my office chair. So I can't say it's bad, it just did not fit my use. It was very easy to put together though.

I have had this chair for several months and am still not "used to it" as I thought I would be. i have poor posture and a bad low back and I still have a hard time keeping my posture in alignment. I did however, remove the base and am just sitting on the ball, as it does force you to engage your core, or else you roll around. I will try this a little throughout the day to see if my posture improves and maybe i can use it more comfortably.
