I bought two of the MX115 MicroMobile for my combine and semi tractor. We can easily talk 5+ miles with the standard small antenna. Sound is crystal clear and the speaker is plenty loud. I will never go back to regular CB radios after using midlands two way radios.

Been using this one for almost two weeks when we did our overlanding. Communication was incredible. We were able to conmunicate way beyond expectations. Thank you Midland.

Great tool, but picks up a lot of static. Works great with our handhelds and other MXT115s. I have one hooked up to the standard antenna, and one with a ghost antenna and both of them are picking up quite a bit of static as we use them on the road a lot. Other than that they work great!

I bought these for tractors and combine at harvest to replace some out dated business band radios. The installation was easy and clean. Paired with the 6db antennas we get very good range, up to 10 miles in rolling hills with no line of sight. they are a little quiet, so if operators are hard of hearing the external speaker would be a good addition, which I didn’t get.

I ordered the MXT115 for the smaller size this unit is for a smaller room limited ATV. After installing we did a range check and was very surprised that it was able to receive and transmit over the hills we have on our hunting properties. It at only 15 rated watts out preformed a 20 or 25 watt radio a fellow club member has in range and clarity.

I bought this Two-way to go in the combine on our farm. Installation was quick and easy, and I powered the unit with the DC power adapter plugged into the cigarette lighter. We have a couple of the handhelds that we use together with this unit and they work great. Range with those is up to 4 miles in our area. Rural but quite a few tress and houses in between.
One thing that we have trouble with is talking into the mic. Sometimes it is hard to understand the person that is talking on the Two-way. I think most of it is inexperience in how to hold the mic up to talk so I am hoping this gets better the more we use it.
Another thing I wish was available was a connector with flying leads to wire into the power point that the combine has. I know most people probably cut the 12V adapter off and wire it directly into the power point, but this limits the places you can put it in the cab. I am sure a quick google search and I could find the connector, but if Midland offered this as an option when purchasing, I am sure many people would get it.
