I finally got around to installing it, it was really simple and it works great, I just need to get it tuned and I'll be set, Midland makes some great products.

Good radio, I was hoping Midland would be a better quality. But it feels and sounds cheap made. The Speaker sounds muffled and the radio body flimsy. Also the weather scan is not the best in my opinion. I would like to be able to set my local station then scan when traveling. I will keep it as a backup or a gift for someone looking to start the hobby. Too much of a pain to return.

Great little radio

I purchased this item about 4 years ago and it still works beautifully. I have it velcro mounted to my dashboard of my car. One issue I had the stock mic was not loud enough so i got a cobra power mic and now im louder then the semi drivers.
I would recommend this to a friend!
