Concept is solid but the actual product seems unfinished. The UI implementation is weak at best and the device often unconnects randomly. It’s usable and does everything advertised but definitely seems like the team in charge rushed through it. It was much less expensive than the few other options out there so it’ll serve its purpose for now.
Pros: -price -SSD -seems pretty rugged
Cons -disconnects randomly from PC sometimes -definitely would have benefited from a more common usb connector for the charging/pc connection port -UI and usage of app could have been vastly improved with just a bit more effort.

Poor app support for HEIC and external connectivit
on August 2, 2021
Posted by: Customer389
Wish the app would just get better at showing heic images, it’s a shame that thumbnails can’t be generated on a backup platform. There is no way image names help. Asking customers to change the format of the file before uploading is just ridiculous as it takes more space on the original device.
I just wish we could access it over the web when it’s running within the home network. It’s a portable product but some form of connectivity would be great.
Also no support for smb2. Had to add the protocol to the file to make it work with iOS 14

Highly do not recommend
on October 19, 2021
Posted by: Disappointed customer
Similar to other reviews, it would not charge brand new out of the box. I spent a long time looking into why it was not charging only to find that this is a known issue amongst others who have bought it. It sucks because I really wanted to like it, but I have a hard time trusting something with my files that could simply stop working out of the blue. I highly do not recommend, especially at the price point!
