The HD works as advertised. It would be much better if the data could be password protected while wirelessly connecting. Also, it's limited to SD cards, but would be much better if it could also accept other types of photo memory cards e.g. XQD and CFE.

Please be informed that you can set up a Wifi password to protect your data on My passport wireless SSD under the Wifi tab on the dashboard.
