I am using these in my first grade classroom as an alternative seating option. The children love them and I do think they're helpful. However one of them did puncture the second day in my room while being used by a very responsible child. I have purchased four of them and they all inflated two different sizes. We prefer the smallest ones for first grade.
I have 19 of these yoga balls in my classroom. I had a grant fulfilled through Donors Choose. They have helped my fidgety students pay more attention and all my students benefit working of balance and stability!

As a kindergarten teacher, I am always looking for alternative seating options for my students to use. Kindergarteners work better if they have the option to move around a bit. These Stay-N-Play Balls have taken over traditional seats in my class. My students are able to focus better and stay more engaged during lessons and independent work time when they are on the balls. I would highly recommend them for any educator or person working with kids!

I bought 6 of them for my 1st grade classroom. The kids love them and they have worked out pretty well. The only downsides I've seen so far are they get dirty really quickly and are hard to clean and I have had 2 of them pop from pencils.

I purchased 4 of these for my classroom this year and my kids love them. They have been working great but after only about 2 weeks one has a hole in it. I can only assume that one of the kids sat on it with a pencil in their pocket and poked a hole. Too bad...I'm hoping they are not too fragile for a 2nd grade classroom. Is there a way to repair the hole? Do you have a repair kit? My husband suggested a bicycle tube repair but he's not sure it will 'stick' to the material. 3 stars of this is a throw-away but 5 stars if there is a repair kit...accidents do (and will) happen.
Pros: Great for varied seating stations in classroom
I bought these yoga balls for use in my classroom. My students love the flexible seating and I love that they aren't rolling all over the room! Little kids and big kids enjoy using them!
