in the past, i've used my exercise ball alone as an alternative to my desk chair in order to relieve some of the stiffness i've always suffered when working for hours on end and to build core strength. your chair is a helpful improvement over just using a ball. it's structure provides greater stability and support. moving to the balance ball chair has eliminated my stiffness. i feel fresh even after sitting at my desk for hours. your product has completely replaced my more-normal desk chair. the brake casters still present a challenge. thanks so much to this wonder chair!
I have enjoyed this chair more than any other desk chair I have ever sat in for any length of time. Thank you for offering this at a reasonable rate and producing a great product.
The ball does not fully inflate using the hand pump. If not fully inflated, the ball sits too low for the chair to be useful at a standard desk height.
I have been using this for about a week. I am now sitting with my feet flat on the ground and with a straight back. The ball is firm, and I feel the need to stand every hour or so. This is healthy too. Others in my office want to try my balance ball chair. (Oh, and the pump worked really well!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hurts my butt!

I can only sit on the ball for 30-45-minutes before my butt is burning so badly and is so numb (numb, although I still feel the burn) that I have to switch back to my old chair for instant relief. Otherwise, I'm happy with the way the chair looks and the way that it helps position my pelvis and back. I'm just hoping that maybe I will get used to it and the numbness/butt pain will go away. I do think it is too expensive - surely these can be cheaper than $100.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently had a fall on my tailbone and it was very painful just to sit down. Having to keep working, I purchased a ball chair and found it not only was pain free to sit, but was a fun and healthy way of rethinking how I sit in front of my desk. I love the ball chair and highly recommend it to anyone who sits at a desk for their daily work routine.
I have had this chair before and the rolling legs broke on one side so I decided, after several years, to purchase another. What I am finding this time is that the chair is very short. Have had to readjust computer monitor and keyboard. Not quite so happy this time.
Easy to assemble. Adjust the amount of air to your comfort zone. I am recommending to all my friends. I work from home, no more sore shoulders and lower back. However, the first week I had some sore muscles in my lower back, but that is gone now. I wouldn't go back to a regular office chair again.
