Great for maintaining healthy sitting posture!

I've used the ball chair at my desk for about a year, and it reduced back strain significantly. I recently noticed that I tend to have terrible sitting posture while crafting, with lots of associated muscle and joint stiffness. I bought a second chair for my crafting table; it keeps me well aligned and more mindful of my posture - muscle and joint problems solved!

I love this balance ball chair! I ordered mine to use at work, instead of my office chair. It's perfect. I moved my nice office chair right out of my office now and only use the balance ball chair. Love knowing it's a bit of exercise with each move I make. I'm 5'9" and the height is just right for me to keep my knees at 90 degrees. If you are shorter, you just put less air in the ball to lower your sit. Perfect and fun chair!! All the girls in our office want one now. The only reason I gave 4 stars in one area is the chair leg locks... I keep hitting them with feet and locking it. I might remove the front leg locks if I can. :-))

I am a School Nurse at a H.S. I'm being treated by a wonderful Chiropractor for scoliosis, & arthritis in my neck. He had me look at ALL the activities I do during the day & change my enviornment to maximize my proper posturing at all times. I changed the height of my monitor and the way & movements I use to treat my kids, but one of the best things I did was to buy the balance ball chair. It keeps me in aliagnment & I can exercise at lunch (when I get Lunch). This is a great purchase & I recommend anyone to try it.

I have a very bad back - I have had back surgery and after the surgery, developed more herniated discs in my lower back. This chair really helps with posture and sitting up straight is so important for my back issues. It also really helps with core strength, which also helps with back issues. I am so happy to have purchased this chair because it has helped my pain diminish somewhat. Now just I just need to find something that gets rid of the pain all of the time!

I have lower back problems. At work, I have been using a regular exercise ball which burst. I looked online for a ball chair. Gaiam is the only one which was priced right. I have been using it for 6 months. It is easier to maneuver around but still works my core muscle. I have recommended the chair to co-workers who have purchased it as well.

I sat on a friends Gaiam Ball Chair one day and was amazed at how comfortable it was. It's my chair of choice whenever I go to her office. A few years ago I was in a MV accident and have been in pain ever since. I work on computers all day and find the ball chair eases a lot of the sitting pain. Sitting in the Ball Chair and working at the computer or just hanging out sitting in it has made an incredible difference. My order arrived quickly. It was simple to put together. I was done in less than 10 minutes! I've not tried the exercises yet, but am looking forward to those also. I would recommend this chair to people with or without back issues simply because it puts your body in proper sitting alignment and is so comfortable. I've even posted it to my facebook page.
