I have lower back problems. At work, I have been using a regular exercise ball which burst. I looked online for a ball chair. Gaiam is the only one which was priced right. I have been using it for 6 months. It is easier to maneuver around but still works my core muscle. I have recommended the chair to co-workers who have purchased it as well.

I sat on a friends Gaiam Ball Chair one day and was amazed at how comfortable it was. It's my chair of choice whenever I go to her office. A few years ago I was in a MV accident and have been in pain ever since. I work on computers all day and find the ball chair eases a lot of the sitting pain. Sitting in the Ball Chair and working at the computer or just hanging out sitting in it has made an incredible difference. My order arrived quickly. It was simple to put together. I was done in less than 10 minutes! I've not tried the exercises yet, but am looking forward to those also. I would recommend this chair to people with or without back issues simply because it puts your body in proper sitting alignment and is so comfortable. I've even posted it to my facebook page.

Great concept but bad wheels!

I ordered a replacement chair because I had one and the rear wheel popped off. I got the new one and within 2 days 2 of the wheels came off! I like the chair overall, but poor design with the wheels.

Love the chair. Keeps my posture in line and helps with lower back pain. Only downside is relatively limited ability to adjust height, so pay attention to measurements. Get lots of comments from visitors to my home office!

I did not know about the ballance ball chair until I saw one in a co-worker's office. I tried it out & decided to order one for myself. After three weeks of using it at my office, I love it. I read some of the other reviews and followed the advice to put the "locking" wheels on the back. It was very easy to put together. It's comfortable and sturdy and the chair sits just the right height. I have decided to order another one for my home desk!
