My coworkers complained of some back pain & said that the chair was uncomfortable for them when they first tried it, but I love it from the beginning! It helps me keep good posture and I love that it engages my core. Some of my co-workers like to borrow the chair from me from time to time now, I think they'll be getting their own soon.

I received this chair as a Christmas gift and brought it to work. I could immediately tell a difference in the way I was sitting, standing and working out. It takes a bit to get used to and I wouldn't recommend sitting on it for an eight hour shift for the first time; ease into it. Everyone in my office has sat on it and others have "borrowed" it when I have been out of the office; 3 people have now purchased the chair. I am very happy with the chair and wouldn't go back to regular office chairs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My purchase of the Balance Ball Chair was sparked by the death of my old desk chair which I had had for at least 6 years! I was especially interested in the support this chair provides for one's spine. I have many chronic back problems that cause me to be restless whether standing, sitting, or laying. Sitting in this chair has given me the relief I have sought for years. It also makes me more inclined to sit up tall as one is supposed to! I believe this will prove to be a great purchase for the long haul. Thanks Gaiam!

I love the chair. It replaced an expensive chair from the back store but it's a better choice for me. It's an entirely different experience of sitting at a desk, as movement and balance are involved. I'd rather have a slightly larger ball, and may actually get one, so that I can sit a bit higher. For exercising at desk, this ball is good. I'm enjoying it and expecting to benefit in my core muscles.

I love the chair however the quality of it is not too good. I have had to replace the metal bar 3 times on it since I have purchased it because it keeps snapping. It has broke in the same place all 3 times. It frustrating because then the ball pops out.

This chair is just as I expected- Great! It was easy to assemble and really helps me to sit up straight. I took it to work since that's where I sit the most, and all of my co-workers wanted to try it out. I'd recommend this chair to anyone who wants to work on their posture.
