The overall rating I gave this product was a 4 because for what you pay for the chair, you would think the quality would be heavier and sturdier than just a light plastic. However, with that being said, the ball is great. It does take some getting used too. But the benefits far outweigh the awkardness of getting used to the chair and the looks you get from people in the office. My first week of using the chair, I gradually sat on the chair a little more each day and by Friday, I had no pain in my neck or my shoulders or my lower back because I so cognizant of my posture while sitting in the chair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great way to engage core, sit up straighter and move more while sitting. I fell off the ball the first day I got it...pretty funny. Sometimes the wheels lock accidentally, but otherwise i love it!

I purchased this chair more for the workout possibilities than sitting. It was easy to put together and I'm enjoying learning the various ways to use it with the bands. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for ways to increase core strength and create a workout environment in their home.

I purchased my Balance Ball Chair after seeing and trying a co-worker's chair. I didn't order right away because it doesn't adjust in height, but realized the ball will inflate to heighten the body and I love mine. I sit for many hours at a time and I do feel active while sitting, oddly enough. Nice looking too.

I bought 8 of these for the girls in my office. We have had varying degrees of feedback from "I just love it - it really helps my back" to " I can't use it since I need an arm rest" I personally am very satisfied but the ball is hard to sit on all day without getting a numb backside. Great Product from Gaiam!

Great Chair but Sits a Bit too High

Wish I could have tried this out first. I work from home and was using a regular balance ball as an office chair. I decided to upgrade to this and while it's very sturdy and comfortable, it sits a bit higher than I'm used to. I'm hoping it will soften and deflate a little as time goes on.
