I was afraid this would be too low for me at my desk but not at all. It is very comfortable, I used to get a lot of neck discomfort and since switching to the ball chair it hasn't been a problem. My only compliant is that the lock on the casters is in a spot that I keep accidentally hitting it with the heel of my foot and locking it when I don't want it locked.

Hi, I got the ball chair for back pain...and needed a new chair at work...I'm thrilled with it, and don't want to sit in anything else...since then 3 more people at work have purchased ball chairs and even the owner is looking into one! now...what to do with all of those office chairs we've gotten rid of!

The chair set up was easy although I had some extensive exercise pumping up the ball (which is good). I used the chair at my office desk as well as up in the den. Looking forward to perfoming some of the more exotic exercises.

I have had my chair for a few weeks now. I prefer the resistance band over using weights. My arms/legs are definately sore after a workout. However, the dvd that comes with the chair is for ball exercises only. I have not really tried to work out to the dvd yet. I think I would have preferred for a dvd to come with exercises using the band on the ball chair also. It is hard to read the book to make sure your arms and legs and bands are in proper position. I think they should make a workout dvd to go with the chair!

This chair I bought to use in my painting studio. I draw and paint for hours on end and needed something I could actually exercise on while sitting. So I can do good yoga stretches on this while working! Great idea, right? I certainly recommend this chair for you yoga people...

I love the chair. It was the number one item on my 18 yr old daughters list at Christmas so I got her one. I figured she would go off to college and leave it here but she insists she is taking it to college so after borrowing hers for a few days and loving it decided to order one for myself. It is in my kitchen at the computer and although aesthetically its not wonderful it is supper great to sit at. I haven't tried any of the exercise things yet, no time to read the book or watch the video but I look forward to doing this. I like her blue better than the green I ordered. Wish it came in red.
the person at Gaiam recommended to fill the ball part way, let it sit overnight, then fill the rest the next day once the ball had "relaxed". this was great advice. I do find I am putting more air in the ball every 3 days or so. Leave the back off of the chair for more "balance" benefits
